Towards the CBF Plenary Assembly.
In view of the forthcoming plenary assembly Catholic Biblical Federation, Germany, organizes regional meetings, to listen to the Bible Apostolate projects undertaken. Most Rev. Dr. Antonysamy Peter Abir, the Chairman, the full member of the CBF, presented the report of the Asia Subregion – South India, on Friday, 18 June 2021, at Streamyard. The Chairman presented the (a) context of the Bible Apostolate with a brief history; (b) current initiatives; (c) future projects; and (d) challenges to the Bible Apostolate. The future projects that are envisioned by the Commission are: (i) Read in Original (Biblical Languages Teaching); (ii) Live the Bible (Bible Stories lived out in concrete life situations); (iii) Lectio Post (Bible posters for the smartphones); and (iv) Bible at Crossroads (Bible in dialogue with world-literature).
